British transgender comedian and writer Dee Allum started her comedy career performing sketches with The Cambridge Footlights student troupe, and has since performed at Latitude Festival and received nominations for Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year and the BBC New Comedy Award.

Allum took to the stage at The Pleasance Theatre in April, and can be seen at the Comics Against Cancer Comedy Gala this month and this summer's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
